Wireless Two-Way Voice
Alarm systems utilizing Alarm.com's Wireless Two-Way Voice feature give your system the ability to directly connect to your monitoring station directly from the alarm panel. While this only applies to Alarm.com voice-enabled communicator systems, such as the IQ Panel 4, you are able to get a much faster response from the monitoring station. Essentially your alarm panel makes a call directly to the Monitoring station and you will speak with the operator through the microphone and speaker of your alarm system.
This feature is enable for all alarm types, but for certain triggers the two-way voice may operate a little differently. For example, using a duress code, hold up alarms and silent panic triggers will trigger the two-way voice call, however, the speaker on the system will be muted. This allows the monitoring station operator to listen-only, potentially giving them information that could help save the lives of anyone on site.
