What’s the difference between the DSC WS4939 and the DSC WT4989?

The major difference between the two devices is that the WT4989 is a two-way wireless device. This means that it has a much more limited compatibility: Impassa, Alexor, and TR5164-433. But it also means that it can have useful extra features since it will not only transmit to the alarm, but receive information back as well. The WT4989 has a small screen that will show the status of the alarm system such as armed or disarmed. Also it has an audible confirmation tone that will let you know that the alarm received the signal from the device.
