More About DSC Power Series NEO Wireless Sensors
The DSC NEO has 4 panels tailored to meet your security needs. The HS2016 offers 6 hardwired zones on the main board and the capability to expand up to 16 zones. The HS2032 model offers users 8 hardwired zones and the capability to expand up to 32 zones. The HS2064 starts out with 8 hardwired zones and can be expanded up to 64. And finally, the HS2128 starts with 8 hardwired zones and can go up to a whopping 128 zones. Expanding the zone capability on these panels can be accomplished by adding hardwired zone expander cards or the wireless transceiver made for the NEO systems.
Besides offering a wide range of different sized systems; the NEO also uses the PowerG wireless technology which is a step ahead of DSC previous 433 MHz wireless format. The PowerG line of detectors and sensors provide long lithium battery life of up to 8 years, encryption to protect against replay attacks, and frequency hopping which is used to preserve battery life and help with encryption.
