Does the DSC PG9935 mount on the window glass itself?

This DSC PG9935 shock sensor will actually mount on the window glass itself. These are different from the glass break detectors as they don't listen but feel for vibration. These are used to maybe prevent a glass break by sensing the shock of a hit to the glass or window frame.
