Will I receive a call if there’s an alarm?

If your alarm system sends a burglary signal then you will get a call. The central station will call you to verify the burglary alarm. If you don't answer the phone or whoever answers the phone can't provide the pass code then they will call the police. Fire signlas are different. For liability reasons; if the central station receives a fire signal from your panel then they will immediately call the fire department.
