PowerG is the preferred wireless technology for Qolsys systems. These devices come with military grade 128-Bit encryption as well as an extra protective measure that sets off the alarm in the case of any sensors being tampered with.

When it comes to the first line of defense with door/window contacts, the typical choices are either the surface mount PG9303 contact, or the recessed PG9307 contact that is drilled into the frame of the door or window. Some may notice the lack of a wireless garage/overhead door contact. For this you can use the auxiliary port of a PG9945 to plug in a wired garage door sensor in order to make it wireless. If you're looking for an extra layer of protection for your windows, we also have the PG9922 glassbreak sensor as well as the PG9935 shock sensor.

As for motion detectors a safe bet would be either the PG9914 as the standard, or a dual-tech detector such as the PG9984P. A dual-tech motion detector essentially has an extra method of detecting motion, making it more accurate and preventing false alarms in rooms that could have some natural motion that you might be worried would trigger it. If you prefer a more circular range of motion detection it might also be worth looking into the PG9862 with its 360 Degree range of detection.
